    Acer eNet Management question

    Its probably obvious but I've tried and can't find out how to change the default connection from "Auto" to my wireless router. So, how do I? When it boots, it always goes to the "Auto" setting, which never ends up connecting. I then have to go in and manually change it to the profile for my router.

    Change the profile and SAVE it as a new Profile. Next time when you turn it on, simply choose what profile you have saved.

    When the system boots up, it automatically goes to a profile. I just need to be sure the one it automatically goes to is mine instead of "auto".

    I just unistalled it, and I let the OS do all that wireless networking, Vista and XP can handle it, they don't need that acer stuff.

    Not really sure what I did. I fiddled around until it worked. It now automatically switches to my own profile for my router, didn't before.

    Personally I disabled Acer eNet... The built-in Vista wireless network manager is good enough.

    Well I fixed it.

    Under the connection settings there is a tick box for "connect automatically when this network is in range".

    I ticked this and it nows connects straight to my wireless router when I turn on the laptop.

    It was doing this at first anyway after setting everything up, then after a few days decided to choose the auto profile instead of mine.
