First thing I did when I got my 6920G was burn the recovery disks. Good thing because I managed to mess it up a few days later. I used the recovery disks and everything went fine.

Today I'm looking through my programs and I realize Acer eRecovery is uninstalled. I wonder why it's uninstalled and I reinstall it from the Applications DVD I burned. First thing it does is pop-up a reminder telling me to burn my recovery DVD's.

Now I remember why I uninstalled it in the first place. That annoying popup!
I actually don't mind having eRecovery installed (I figure it might come up useful someday), however I was wondering if there was a way to disable the annoying popup, as I do not want to burn another set of DVD's at the moment.

Remove the program of startup items and if no is here then remove the entry in the regedit for Windows 2000, XP, Vista is the same (HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run).
