Recently I am facing a problem on acer extensa 5630ez model. When I click erecovery restore (system in factory default or restore in user backup)section ......nothing happens except system restarts with normal booting but if I put recovery disk into optical drive and press f-12 function it works well.Whats the reason behind it?

    Hi,

perhaps "D2D" option is disabled in Bios.

Have you changed your partitions, it might be looking for the original configuration( C:\ system partition and D:\ Data partition), it's only a guess.

I think you are right......Acer technical support also told me that "It is caused for the change of the partitions into hdd". Now ...is there any way to repair partition without sending my pc to Acer repairing service center?

    Did you change the partitions?
If the e-Recovery from the hard drive fails, but it works from the CDs, then the recovery software has been damaged in its hard disk partition. I don't know if the CD recovery procedure can repair what is in that, but it does repair what is on the C drive partition.
