Several keys on the Acer Aspire - 3 years old - do not now function. Tried popping them off to clean underneath - to no avail. What can I try for remedies?
-
Probably replace the keyboard- keyboards are cheap and easy to replace on most models (you never stated yours)
-
Thanks for that. It's only about a 10" notebook - are those keyboards replaceable? And where would I find one in Vancouver, BC.?
-
Yes these keyboards are available for up to $15 on eBay.
Just make sure you're buying one that is meant for your notebook- there were many Aspire Ones (I assume that's what you own). -
Thanks again.

Are you familiar with the HP keyboard - model #KU-0316 ? If so, which keys are used for brightness control?
-
I'm lost here- what does it have to do with your Acer keyboard?
-
Nothing - it's a separate matter. Just wondered if you had some knowledge of HPs as well.
-
Nope- sorry I've never owned an HP. I asked only because I got confused about it- not picking on you or anything.
