I have had this laptop for about three years and it still works fine.
I remember last year I had to replace the charger. The laptop would only charge if I put the laptop in odd positions or it would charge, not charge and so on. I took it to a local laptop repair stand and they told me the charger needs replacing, and after that I bought a new one and it worked fine.
However, last week the same thing started happening. My laptop had to be in odd positions for it to charge, until eventually, no position would let the laptop charge. I kept holding the part that goes into the laptop at different angles which worked before, but it stopped.
I decided to get a new charger as that's what happened last time. I then put it into the laptop and left the laptop in one place so I don't ruin the charger and the problem does not occur in a year again. However, I can't always stay there and have to move, so once again only a few days later I have to keep holding the part of the charger which goes inside the laptop in a certain position and keep it still, but then when I went to move the laptop to sit elsewhere, I have to now hold it in wierd positions until it charges, but a little move and it won't charge. Actually it seems worse because earlier in the day if I simply kept it as it was without moving, it would charge, but now the charger falls out the socket in the laptop, it seems it is too loose for it to sit there? So now I am thinking there is a problem with the circle part where the charger goes inside, and not the charger itself.
It is tiring and I am so considering buying a new laptop, but one which doesn't require a wire because of this problem! I don't know if anything exists though. My laptop works fine otherwise, but it's the charger part which isn't working.
I don't know where to get it fixed but I imagine it won't be cheap. What could I do to fix it?
