    Acer memory installation

    I have an Acer 1691 wmli and I am looking to add another module of memory. The problem is I have undone the 2 screws on the base of the laptop, but cannot get the plate off to put the memory in! Does the plate slide or lift off? Or is there another catch somewhere else? Thanks.
