I have an Acer Aspire 3023WLMi which I've had since about November so it should still be under warranty. On the back of the LCD lid by the left hinge a small crack has appeared which is growing slightly everyday. It seems to be cause by the left hinge being too tight and opening and closing the lid everyday has gradually caused the crack. It's pretty obvious looking at the crack that it wasn't caused by me dropping the notebook or anything like that. Do you think Acer would fix the lid under the warranty or would sending it to them be a waste of time?
What do you think?

I think they would fix it. I had a display replaced by them fairly promptly, plus i think i have seen something like this happening before and being fixed. Proly saw it on notebookforums.com. GL

If it's under warranty, they should fix it. Their Customer Service isn't bad, so it's going to be hassle free, I believe. Just go to www.fixmyacer.com and do whatever that webbie tells you to do.

They will fix it. I had the exact same problem. It might be a design flaw.
