    Acer 4501wlmi

    Intel Pentium M 725 1.5GHz processor
    400 MHz FSB
    2 Mb cache
    512 Mb RAM
    60 Gb Hard Drive
    DVD ROM & CD RW drive
    15.4" widescreen TFT display
    64 Mb ATi Mobility Radeon 9700 graphics


    Please help me decide on better quality and performance..

    Performance and features wise the specs says it all - Acer. Quality wise Toshiba might be better, but Acer s got good quality too.

    Bakerm,

    I'm gonna assume the CPU types was just a type-o for the 4501WLMi, it probably should be 715. Plus, I believe the 4501WLMi units have a DVD+/-RW drive.

    The only main difference between the 2 units is in price and branding. Toshiba has the bigger name, but Acer provides better value for the dollar, while still providing good quality.

    My vote would be for the Acer.
