    Hi,

    other than the fact that the 15.4" widescreen of the Aspire 1682WLMi will obviously provide more space than the standard 15" of the TravelMate 4002Lmi, which one provide the best quality in terms of crispness, brightness and quality of color as well as response time?

    Are 15.4" really better than 15"?

    Sort of depends on what you want...it's completely personal. I love wide and won't do anything else. As for quality, they'll be very similar. I'd spend time looking in stores to see what suits you.
