    Hi
    I get a acer 5630
    t5500
    1 gig ram
    geforce 7300.
As I open any game, my computer temp goes to 94-95c, and my hd is between 50-55c.
It's very annoying because I get big FPS drop.
    Is this overheating?
I don't know much about bios, should I upgrade it?, buy a laptop cooling pad?
    Thanks you very much

    Yes it's overheating.

I suggest you make sure that the laptop is sitting on a solid desk and has enough clearance underneath for adequate air flow. Also check your fans/heatsink and make sure it's not clogged with dust.

If that doesn't help, then I suggest you invest in a cooling pad and read the forums about undervolting.

But I fear that you're cooling system is very clogged and you don't give it enough space for airflow. No notebook should be overheating like that and require undervolting/cooling pads to work properly. Those 2 are just as precautions, but your computer has to work fine w/o them. So clean your fans of dust.

I would like to try cleaning it up from dust so I was looking for tutorial.
All the tutorial give me access by the top.
Why do i have a lot of screw under?
I have to take off the screen, keybord etc?
    Thanks for advice.
I know you are not responsible for anything.
Enough airflow under, i am on a table.
