    Thinking of buying an Acer Fondue?

    Acer still rocks as best bang for buck. And build quality is improving too...not that it was especially bad in the first place.

    All depended on the new owners outlook on lappies.....and how to treat them...

    We've been buzzing about the 8930/693x/5930 series for a while now.
    Good to hear that they're finally landing in US retailers' hands.

    i own ad 8920g and i love it, the only problem that it came with a defective SW and i live in mexico, and the international warranty thing is just a joke

    lol.. No, not really :D

    But I was once a major fan of Acer, particularly when the first Ferrari series was launched (and this was mainly because I am a super huge Ferrari fan!!).. but then DELL happened, and I haven't looked anywhere else since.. :)

    But I do like some of the Acer systems and the price they come with.. anyways :) This was more to share the news since I happened to see it :) Cheers and have fun Acer Fan Boys n Girls :)
