I wanted to hear your ideas about this program that comes with Acer laptops, the Acer Updater.
Do you use it to update the drivers of your laptop? Every time I run this program it doesn't show any results for updates, but when using other programs like Slimdriver it shows as there are updates for my laptop.
Do I need to do any setting in my pc in order to get the updates through this program?

Acer program works but it checks your drivers against Acer ftp.
The problem is Acer (almost) never update any drivers on their ftp so the program can't find any "new" drivers.

You should completely ignore it and use a trusted site that offers wide selection of drivers. I personally use this one.
