    Acer what are the main issues with them?

    I am impressed with the screen and the webcam is the best I have ever seen 5530G, but I still cannot get any DVD to play at more than a whisper. I was in IT support for many years so know my way around. Funny thing is is will play CD's at levels just about acceptable. Even using external speaker (without amp) you can only just listen to a DVD with the sound full on.
    What other major issues and fault have people found with Acer laptops?

    Acer has had issues like any lappie manufacturer. A lot of silly problems get resolved right here on the Acer forum. Just post and help is normally around the corner. For free from the oldies here.

    Just a thought...
