    At present in Acer's TM4400 notebook series there is only the TM4402 WLMi available. I've read Chazma421's description of this notebook. It represents really good ratio of power to price. Does anybody know anything concerning Acer's future TM4400 series plans? When will faster CPUs, bigger RAMs, SATA HDDs ect be available in TM4400 series?

    I don't think we'll be seeing another model added to the 4400 series. There are two models already - the 4401 and the 4402. The 4401 is only avaliable in the UK/Europe. It doesn't have all the features that the 4402 has, such as the 100GB hard drive and the ML-30 Turion processor.

    The 4402 has the max amount of features you're going to get in a notebook. Acer generally doesn't update the video cards in them, or other non-user upgradeable parts (screen, etc).

    It's a great notebook for the money, very powerful. It's what I like to call a "poor man's Ferrari" :p .

    it is a great laptop i bought one my self for 1099 (tm4402), and added +1gb of ram for just about 100, so its really nice, plus undervolting the thing made it run up to 10-15C lower and eat up less power at full speed, mine managed to be stable at 1.05v, it was the best system that i could get at the online site, for the price, the biggest seller was the x700 there are like no other laptops in this price range with that video card

    ==== update ===
    after runing some games and other apps i was forced to move the voltage to 1.075v but thats still great ;)
