Hi, After my Acer 5101 awlmi has gone into a screen saver mode, on waking up I get an error message "Acer-scr has stopped working" let windows correct the problem. Which I do, but nothing happens and it all starts again when the screen saver starts again.
    Thanks for any help.

try changing the screen saver or just switching it off.I use the power settings so that after 15mins my laptop screen switches off,and with a tap of the space-bar springs back into life..just a thought

WoW. unlucky its a trojan (backdoor)
it will just keep doing this until you re'install windows.
but you need to do it from a disc, and you need to format Hdd.
sorry there is away of cleaning but its not always 100%.
lavasoft is good. or spybot.load and update the def file you could get lucky :)

0xc0000022. is a real error code for applications.the one that is coming up on your laptop is the false one used by the virus.
