Dear all. Is it possible to add 4GB amount of RAM into my Aspire 4315? And, if it can't, what's the max amount of RAM should I insert to it? Thanks all..

From what I can read, your notebook has the GL960 chipset which only supports 2GB of RAM. You'll want 2 sticks of RAM at 1GB each.

The Aspire 4315 officially supports 2GB, but it has a motherboard and config quite similar to the Aspire 5315, so have a look at the 5315 Sticky Thread, because I think you can install 2+1GB in a specific pattern.

If its the same as the 5315 then 3Gb should work with the 1Gb chip in the lower slot (ie the slot closest to the motherboard).
