I just was thinking if it would be possible to add a fingerprint scanner to an Acer laptop. I've only seen a couple of sites that someone has done it, but none have much as far as details. Has anyone come across a site that has descriptive info on how to add one, or done it themselves?

Unless you have a specific need, I doubt it's worth the trouble. I had one on my T42. I barely used it.

Thanks, good to know. T42's come with them stock, correct? You didn't have to "mod" one in, right?

No they were not stock on the T42s, but I had a higher end model which tended to have it.
