    Hi all
After my bother with my sons acer, we looked around and to be honest the choice is again down to 2 acers lol, i will put the faulty one down to bad luck, now i have a choice between a core i30 from currys for £399 or the same machine with a phenom 2 x3 and 4250 hd graphics for the same price, im not clued up on laptops so which would be the better option please, non will be used for gaming, student version of autocad 2011 will be the only graphics apart from some films and you tube.
    Thanks
    Mark

Generally speaking the i3 IGP combo will get better battery life than the AMD/4250, but eh 4250 will be slightly faster at GPU intensive stuff. The difference between the two is pretty close tho. I'd go with the i3 myself.
