    Hello!
I am a user of aspire 5920G wich run vista. I have downloaded a Win XP pro sp3 acer OEM and i want to install on my laptop. By installing xp i want also to remove vista(not to make double-boot). So the point is : 1.Should i do this? 2.What are the risks or any malfunction after?
3.will I lost update from microsoft and Acer, meaning that i should buy a new Win xp license?

P.S. Some days ago i I created a Factory Disc with eRecovery, and ,If i want reinstall vista, using these dvd will my laptop "transform" as it was when i turned on for the first time?

    Thanks to all replies... :)

If your PC did not come with Windows Vista Business you MUST BUY A SEPARATE LICENSE FOR XP.

Any modifications to your OS / install should be done AFTER you image the pc with Acronis or similar software.
