Be carefull not to buy the same 2000MAH battery that came with the laptop since you won't get more than 60 or less min. out of it.Go for at least 4000 or 4400.

Anyone found a good site with a reasonable price. I have a 3003LCI coming and will probably upgrade Ram and battery.
    Thanks

I went ahead and got one of ebay. It was just under $80 shipped. Have been using for several days and it is lasting about 2.5 hours. Quite an improvement from the original battery. The original is 2000 maH and the replacement is 4400 maH. I found some batteries on ebay that where listed as 4000 maH. So, if anyone goes the ebay route besure to read the description of the battery.

I also got a LCBTP03003 for my 3003LCi, from ebay seller power_198. It was $68.70 including shipping from Milpitas CA. I believe they are also doing business as access_power on ebay.

It arrived as expected, 4400mAh, recommended.

I bought a DR202 compatible from power_198 over the summer for my old KDS laptop. It was the best price going, but the battery did fail a couple of months later. However, they were very good about taking it back and I sent a $6 check with it to go to a 6000mAh battery (from 5400). That battery has worked perfectly to date. So they're good to work with, too.

Power198 has the 4400 mah battery on Ebay for $58.80 + $10 S&H (item#6850904469). You really cant beat that price. It does only come with a 1yr warranty. But I'm sure all of these batteries are made at the same location somewhere in Japan, they're all probably the same.

My battery was just delivered. Its the 4400mAH, 8 cell battery. I charged it up and the battery meter is telling me its 100% charged and estimating 5hours 21 mins remaining using the word processing setting under Acer Emanagement. So far I'm very impressed with it. The battery arrived with a made in China sticker on it and when I went to put the battery in the laptop it doesnt slide in as smooth as the original one and there is a slight gap on the edge where the plug is. But for the price you cant beat it, Acer charges $149+S&H for their 4400mAH battery. I dont have any idea of how many charge-discharge cycles the cells will be good for though, although it does come with a 1yr warranty and from what I've read the company is pretty good about warranty exchanges.
