Pretty far = =...Seems like the biggest advantage of it is still the directX 10. I agree with what the second link said that "who every time expect supreme frame rates, should wait for the 8800 series of NVidia." but i just can't wait, the 5920G is so cheap with such high-end specs.

I wouldn't worry about a future 5920G (or any other 15" notebook) coming with a 8800m GT... It most likely will not fit. The 5920G has a MXM Type II size video card. "If", and only "If", the 8700m GT happens to be on a Type II MXM card, then it would fit... But definantly not a 8800m GT.

silly thread! everyone who is serious about hardware, have already seen those websites, and they don't explain even some critical details about 5920G's GeForce8600GT, like that it's memory, just like on the new Dell Inspirion runs on 400 instead of 700MHz...

    lame spam thread

kinda agree, that stuff everyone hu gives a dam abt graphic cards would know. n our acers (5920G) use ddr2 instead of ddr3 which does lower performance a little, none of those "all you ever wanted to know" sites state that critical point.

but acer spec did mention it is using DDr2, in my country Dell spec stated DDR3 but when customized it become DDR2, many customers aren't aware about this. I was almost a victim myself but purchase Acer since I found that acer is slightly better than acer.
