The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I'm looking to upgrade the Broadcom (Widcomm) Bluetooth for Windows from 3.0 to 4.0 and was wondering if Acer had this available for any of their laptops. I saw 4.0 on the web but you have to modify some of the files to work on different laptops. I would like to use an Acer version if possible so I don't have to modify the files.
