    Any Aspire S3 Cooling mod?

    Noise from cooler makes me really mad. I wish Acer would make bottom plate of aluminum instead of top one. Albeit CPU fan in spining laptop gets hot anyway. I want to upgrade my cooling system and i'll be very thankful, if someone can provide any information about mods they've made or saw somewhere.

    hi, I got the i3 Ivy Bridge version (S3-371) and I modded the cooling by adding 2mm thick thermal pad on top of the PCH cooling pad to make better contact (pressure created by bottom cover) with PCH and its cooling pad as the PCH cooling pad is not mounted by screws (only CPU's is) and this decreased PCH temps by about 5°C (maybe it spreads therm also to the plastic bottom cover)
