Has anyone opened the bottom of their 5672 by where the cpu is? I wanted to know if the cpu is easily reached, and if there are any restrictions to taking it out.
Im asking this because I intend to swap in a Merom when they become available and my current Acer has 1 of the screws that hold the heatsink on the cpu hidden so that it cannot be reached with a screwdriver, and thus the cpu cannot be taken out.
Is this the case with the 5672 also?

Scroll to the bottom. There has been several people on the forum that have swapped out their processors with at least one using a Merom.
Anyone open up a 5672?
