This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Anyone put a quad (and if so higher than q9000) in their 7738G?

    Looked at the FRU and it seems both the dual core and quad core models use the same motherboard (same part number) and its just the cooler thats different.

    So with the right cooler it looks like you can slap a Q9000 in there, but has anyone tried any higher models?
