Anyone tried the ZM-NC1000 cooler from Zalman on an Acer yet?

I am just curious to know. My lappie hates hot weather (our summer season) and the HDD runs very warm: idle 50 to 62 degrees Celsius. This lappies HDD sits just under the touchpad (like lots of Acers). So it is difficult to cool properly....

At present, using a normal house fan at low speed to cool the lappie. Cumbersome and not really practical. But it brings HDD temps down by at least 10 to 15 degrees Celcius.

This Zalman cooler is supposed to be really good.......but will it cool down my HDD?

    Thanks,
    Theo
