Looking at this for my Acer 6920G:

    Intel 4965AGN MM1 Wireless Board | eBay

Got new internet with 50Mbps download but with my current Atheros card (G), I only get 11Mbps, which is near the maximum realistic output. Just wanted to know if anyone has done this upgrade and if there are any issues I should be aware about installation and setup. Thanks!

My 6920G came with 4965 so I can report there were no issues at all although 4965 sometimes doesn't see hidden SSIDs after reboot. It's not a 6920G issue nor Acer one- it's Intel's fault.

Sorry for asking an obvious question but do you have a 802.11n capable router?

Installed the network card in under a minute! One screw for the cover, two screws for the network card and connect black to lead 1 and white to lead 2 (lead 3 is in the middle). Boom, lightning fast speeds that I can finally enjoy!
