This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Are Acer/Gateway laptops still available at the big box stores?

    Hello
    I need to purchase a Gateway Laptop (I believe Gateway =Acer) from a retail store in person.
    If you go to the Gateway site it claims their laptops are sold at Target, Bust Buy, Staples, Walmart and more.
    I've checked a few stores and I only see Acer models.
    Does anyone know if the Acer/Gateway models are being phased out in favor of Acer?
    Or has anyone seen Gateway laptops recently in the stores?
