I haven't seen any Canadian retailers carry it yet, but has anyone had luck buying from US retailers? I remember reading that someone emailed Acer Canada asking about it, and got a response saying to look for the 1410 at the end of October. I can't wait that long with school coming up very soon. Are there any fellow Canadians who really want to get this laptop that can help out?

This is available right now in BC

    Gateway EC1803H

It's the cousin of the 1410 and has 3GB instead of 2.
