I am in need of a new hard drive connector. The one i have broke and I have been looking all night for a supplier. Just to make sure, its the 22 pin sata+power to 10 pin flat cable that plugs into the motherboard and the hard drive.

Mine broke right near the motherboard connection and all I need is a new cable/connector.

If anyone knows where I can look or even find this unusual part I would be very very happy.

That cable isn't easy to get. The part number is 50.SA107.006. I ordered one of those in Germany at EUR 29,00. Their page is acer-ersatzteile.de and they have an international site ipc-computer.eu and also notebook-doctor.com. Those are the only places I have found up to now.

For anyone who still cares about this; NotebookSolutions.ca has it for $25 under the part number AC16445
