    I know the wireless is rated "N", but is it dual band.

    It's unlikely but it would help if you provided us with brand and model of the adapter in question.

    So now you know not only is it not a double-band card but also that it features Bluetooth meaning if you want to upgrade to a dual-band and keep BT you need to buy an Intel 6230
