    Hi,

I am strongly considering buying the aspire 1654, and went along to a few local shops to try and find one to look at in person. I found a 1642 (I think), which uses the same screen. I was impressed with the sharpness of picture when I tried watching a bit of a DVD on it. However I do have a couple of questions:

    1) in-store they were only allowed to put on U-rated movies, and shrek didn't have any fast moving action to test ghosting. Is this a problem?
    2) Wow it was shiny, in fact, with all the lighting in there I could see my face in the screen... whilst watching the DVD. Is this a problem in normal usage, or just an artifact of the store environment?
