    Does anyone have some info on this system? Mainly the HD speed. It seems only radioshack/circuit city sells them.

    It was discussed here and I went to look at it and indeed it was a x700 with 1gig or ram. If the HD is the seagate 5400 a la 4400 then i might get it.

    Unless it says, it is probably 4200RPM. I think the only Acer that comes with a 5400RPM drive is the Ferrari. Could be wrong though.
