This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Aspire 1694WLMi doesn't receive analog voice phone calls?

    I can make a call, but I could not receive a call using Call Dialer or any other software I have. Is this configuration issue or the modem is not capable of receiving analog phone calls? I have SoftV92 Data Fax Modem with SmartCP.

    Apparently the reason is this is not Voice modem.
