    Aspire 1810tz black screen

    Hi guys,
    just got my replacment 1810tz. last book had some trouble with the keyboard. now the brand new just wont boot up. has some fan blowing and once harddisc access and then nothing. i already tried Fn + F5/F6 keys, no result. also attached via hdmi to monitor - but not any flickering. even let it lay there for some hours wiithout batterypack attached. no result.

    any idea what to do?

    maybe anybody can tell me how to remove the bios battery, maybe this could solve it...?
    its really annoying to send back the second notebook within 3 weeks :(

    dammit. Its not possible to get 2 of 2 bad samples, right?

    Don`t beat yourself to it, it`s not your fault.

    And don`t by any chance start opening up your Laptop, cause you can forget about warranty after that!
    Just send it back and ask for a refund. And then change your supplier. Many people have bought these little machines, including me, and very few reported back with problems.

    Just send it back. Wasting day after day with it useless. Third is the charm
