    Hello,

I have an Aspire TimelineX 1830T-7618. I need to change its charger, as the wire is broken inside the isolation. I looked on Ebay and found lots of chargers for 1830T, but the other four numbers were different, I didn't find any charger specifically for 1830T-7618. Can I buy confidently any charger whose name starts with 1830T ?

    Thanks, Virgil.

Any charger for 1830T should be fine as long as wattage and amperage fit. So if yours is 30W (19V and 1.58A) buy one that is dedicated for 1830T (so the socket would be the same) and with these W and A parameters.

Mine is 40W, 19V and 2.15A so I guess this

40W Original AC Adapter for Acer Aspire 1830 1830T 1830TZ Charger

    should be fine.

    Thanks, Virgil.

Yes, that one should be OK.
