Hey guy i was tryin to format my aspire 2010 but when i go to the boot menu and make it boot from cd it just flashes and come back to the boot menu, i'v tried using a external cd drive and it does the same thing, my friend told me i could try flashing the BIOS so i went to download the BIOS update from the acer support website ftp://ftp.support.acer-euro.com/notebook/aspire_2010/bios/aspire2010_2020_V130.zip and when i load it up in windows it gives me a error saying "error DPMI Host Installed---exiting", is there any other way i can update/flash the BIOS in windows? since i can't boot from floppy.
main reason i need to do this is since it didnt let me boot from cd i installed a fresh copy of windows over the old windows on the laptop and some how 23gb of hard drive space went missing, or if theres a way to get my hd space back i'll be happy too.
    thx in advance :)
