I turned on my laptop today and the screen cane on for just a split second and then the backlight stopped working. It made a very quick, audible noise that sounded like a florescent light turning on.
The LCD panel still works, but it won't light up now. Has the backlight of the screen died or is it a problem with the inverter board?
If it is the backlight, does anyone know where I can find a replacement... Are there any websites that might sell that part, or would I have to call up Acer? (if they even supply them anymore)
Thanks
