Hi, I got my laptop a while ago, and only recently noticed that as soon as I started any game at all, no matter how basic, the fan would start blowing, and then after a few minutes it would turn on the louder fan immediately. I can't recall whether this always happened, or whether it is something recent.

Can someone else with a 2012 tell me whether their fan blows really hard when they play games?

I'm not too sure what you mean by "turn on the louder fan". The fans will blow harder when you put stress on the CPU/GPU. It's a normal thing for the system to do. I wouldn't worry too much about it. IMO.

Playing games and DVDs are two of the most taxing operations a laptop can peform. Added cooling to relieve the added stress on the system is understandable.
