    Aspire 2020 Can`t Get Email Detection To Work

    After trying these things I still cant get the email button to flash

    - Updated launch manager program
    - Switched off windows firewall
    - connected the computer to the internet via dialup thus bypassing my router firewall

    Has anybody else with a Aspire 2020 had trouble getting it to work

    yes.personaly i think it is shipped desabled my acer 2026 never work.
    if any one knows otherwise let us know.

    My Aspire 2002 works fine, you have to enter your login ID and password first in the Launch Manager tray icon, when you right click look for "E-mail detection..."

    my works now!but it only works with pop3 accounts and a use msn [imap] most of the time. shame.[V]
