    Hi

My son's Aspire appears to have developed a problem.

Upgraded with 1 Gbyte of RAM and 256 MB.
    Windows Vista Premium.

The keyboard works well when inputting licence codes etc and then once operating system is installed keyboard is non-responsive or requires the keys to be depressed for a few seconds before the letter appears on the screen. Mouse pad is either non-responsive or jerky.

Processor is running at 75%+ when only running Vista. USB mouse and keyboard work no problems.

    Reinstalled XP, same problems occur.

    Any ideas what's gone wrong?

    Thanks

    Nick

Just to let you know, solved the problem by taking the battery out.
