Crashes if its battery is installed.

The battery is not very good. It charges whenever the laptop is plugged to AC. Its power lasts only about 20 to 30 minutes.

With the battery on the laptop and running on AC power, everything operates for about 10 or 20 minutes and then it crashes deadly.

Without the battery and running on AC power, the computer operates normally.

I want to keep the battery on the computer.
But I want to have the battery disabled or disconnected from the laptop.
Is this possible? And HOW, PLEASE?
