First I would like to upgrade my hard drive and don't even know where to start finding the correct one
Second I would like to upgrade to more Ram prob about 2 gigs if not 4 gigs and I'm getting differnt listings on the web for the correct ram.

Download CPU-Z, go on to the last page and click 'Registers Dump (.txt)' and upload the txt file.

Download HD Tune, and upload a screenshot of the INFO page.

    (Live in the US ??)

EDIT: Also download Everest, and check the max memory supported....

CPU-Z will give info regarding the CPU, chipset, RAM.

HD Tune will give info regarding the HDD interface (IDE or SATA)

Everest will give info regarding the max memory support.

Don't worry they are clean, and I recommend them to everyone :D

You can search their names on google, and you'll hit their sites....

The HD Tune , reports only the current drive futures .

NOT what the laptop supports !!

I am still looking for a software that it will give me info about the status of the LBA 48 , in the bios of my laptop.

The LBA 48 Bios-info, are the key , of this puzzle.
