Aspire 3610 Wireless Help

HI IM A NEW MEMEBER I HAVE A ASPIRE 3610 I HAD HOME EDITION I MAD 4 RECOVERY CDS MY FRIEND THEN TOLD ME TO PUT MEDIA CENTER HE DID BUT I DIDNT WANT IT SO WHEN I TRIED TO PUT WINDOWS ORIGINAL BACK ON THE CD'S WERE CRACKED DO YOU GUYS KNOW ANY PLACE WHERE I CAN GO TO FIX CRACKED CD'S??? ANYWAYS I CALLED ACER THEY SENT ME THE RECOVERY CD EVERTHING WORKED GOOD BUT.. THE WIRELESS WOULDNT NOT COME UP I WENT TO THE DRIVER DOWNLOADED IT ..IT STILL DID NOT WORK THEN I WENT TO ACR.COM ...STILL NO LUCK...WHA SHOULD I DO BECAUSE I PUT VISTA ON SO IT DOWNLOADED MY DRIVERS AUTOMAICALLY BUT IM WORRIED ITS GOING TO MESS UP!!! CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT KIND OF WIRLESS a aspire 3610 is and where i can download it from i need the name of the wirless brand so i can know where to get it. i dont know how to get it back on!!! can you guys pleas help me!!!!

 

i had a quick serch and it said that it has a "integrated Acer InviLink 802.11b/g Adaptor" and on the acer website it says its a "Broadcom Wireless 802.11bg 3.100.46.0 and Foxconn Wireless 802.11bg Atheros 4.0.0.14001" any way here is the acer driver link "ftp://ftp.support.acer-euro.com/notebook/travelmate_2410/driver/Wireless%20Lan%2080211bg.zip" tell me if that driver works

 

My Acer Is A Aspire 3610 Not A Travel Mate Will That Site Still Work Even Though It Say Travel Mate????

actually i have a holiday today but im going to try to download the driver and i goy confused on the go check ur message beause i actually said its an aspire 3610 no travelmate all i need to know is if it will work??? thanks for ur help!

 

and another thing im on vista and it works wireless but when i put in home edition it wont if i put the home back on will the link for the driver work for sure or not because i need it for sure to work and the site of the company!!!

 

the link i sent you is for the travel mate and the aspire 3610 it should work so i would recomend that you give it a try if it dont work it wont harm you

 

just incase it wont work do you have any more driver sites???

 

see i was looking at the link u gave me its from acer i am wondering can u tell me the actually site for the company name of the wirless driver???
