I have already referred to the 2 previous threads (both over a year old) and they refer to a youtube video that has been removed.

Is there any directions out there anywhere to help me take apart this Aspire 3680? I have the HD & the center piece off but can't get the entire back off for some reason. I need to replace the Acer 3680 DC/USB Board and have to remove the ENTIRE back to reach it.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

You may be able to find a service manual for this notebook somewhere on the net. Service manuals always have a detailed disassembly instructions with photos.

Disconnect the keyboard, touchpad and any other connectors, remove the 3 screws and pull wireless cables through
Remove 5 screws from the bottom back edge and lift off screen
