    Aspire 3680 with Vista Basic freezes

    This has started happening quite frequently. The screen freezes, arrow vanishes and I can't even open the Task Manager using CTRL+ALT+DEL. At the time the only programs running were Outlook 2003 and Internet Explorer 7. The hard disc light flashes slowly and periodically. Any suggestions?
