    Hi Guys,

My Acer Timeline 3810's battery was fully discharged and now it says that the battery is "97% available, plugged in, not charging"

I tried various solutions such as updating bios and taking battery out, etc.

Does anyone have any other solutions? There appears to be nothing about this problem on the Acer website.

    Thanks a bunch.

Simplo Battery Issue you have to set the battery back to update the battery firmware.

How do I update the battery firmware? I was looking for the drivers on the ACER website and couldn't find anything?

Take a look at this site
You go to Acer Website Driver & Downloads and find the BIOS.

I've been having the same issue, I've also tried all these fixes:
    -Installed Bios v1.28
-Booting up, then plugging in battery
    -Holding down the power button.

The battery does not charge. One person mentioned a firmware upgrade for the battery, then linked to the Acer help page concerning the BIOS update, others and I had already installed to no avail.
    Any help would be appreciated.

You have to send the battery back to the service centre or try the flash from DOS Mode.
