This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Aspire 4220 wireless problems

    I am having problems with a freinds Aspire 4220 conecting to a wireless internet.The computer was running Vista and connction failed.I have installed Xp and had a connction working and ran windows updates.Now can not get a connection.I get a message "No wireless networks were found in range.Make sure the wireless switch on your computer is on."
    Can anyone help.
