    Aspire 4520 - Help with volume bar, not icon.

    I recently bought an aspire 4520, and i'm enjoying it so far.
    The problem is i deleted a few annoying programs from the start up menu with tune up utilities and now the horizontal volume bar wont appear as it used to before.
    It's not the icon on the taskbar, it was a green bar that would come at the bottom of the screen, above the taskbar,like the wireless bar.
    So anyway i'm hoping you can help me get it back, as i have no idea how to.

    oh i have vista by the way but i think that's a given.
