What do you mean by Resource DVD- eRecovery DVDs or the DVD with drivers & apps?
As long as you have working Windows and recovery partition on your HDD still intact you can simply burn eRecovery DVDs and drivers & apps DVD once more.

The laptop did not come with windows pre installed. And i made a mistake of not creating a recorvery partition.
The laptop came with a DVD labelled "Aspire 4745 Series Rev 2.0 Resource DVD"
It contains all the drivers and add on software Acer give with the laptop, most of which i dont seem to find on the Acer website. The only thing that bothers me the most is i cant find the switchable graphic driver for this laptop so i dont mind using what came in the disc. The dics should just be 1.39GB, not too much and it will benefit many others too
